Elfie has two poems published this week by Royal Rose Magazine. 'Attraction' talks of repressing queerness and 'Fraud' continues that discussion as feeling like a fraud in a relationship.
Her lips, her cheeks, her hair comprise every colour of the spectrum, pour awe down throats like honey, rouse dust in the depths of empty ribcages. Deserving of a spotlight, God must have made the sun just for her. She stands, a silhouette amongst shadows.
Both poems will be included in Elfie's debut chapbook Will You Still Love Me if I Love Her?
